Take your star and go.
They exist where I am too, but I don’t really notice any difference in how they treat men vs women: they seem to be equal opportunity assholes.
Racing organizations like SCCA and NASA are working initiatives to increase #’s of women at the grassroots level, through autocross and HPDE programs.
SCCA has a thing called Street Survival you should look into, if only because it’s probably more convenient — they have them all over the place instead of just at Skip Barber schools/tracks.
This morning, a friend of mine posted a picture of his 8yo daughter working on the rear suspension of his motorcycle. He’s got her in karts now, and will have her on a minibike soon.
Kinja comment sections benefit from the approved commenter system.
You can get one which replaces the comments with a relevant reddit thread. It’s... marginally better?
Agreed. Here is one of the few examples of “comments are better than the content.” I’m not bringing this up to contradict you, but because it’s a glaring exception (and because it’s hilarious).
I love you. I’ve been wanting to watch since I heard an interview with her a few weeks ago, but hadn’t figured out how.
You don’t even need to go back that far: airlines were deregulated in 1978 in the US, and shit’s been going downhill since then. In the EU, airfares are lower and people get treated better. It’s almost like government regulations are not a universal evil...
She’s pretty accomplished. The cancer research gig is a g*ddamn side project for her!
United has been edging out American lately, but only among the big carriers. The little guys (Spirit, JetBlue, etc) have been much worse for a long time. You just don’t hear about it because they only carry 1/10 the passengers.
Yeah, it’s fantastic that 2-doors are basically dead, most cars these days can’t be had with a manual transmission or RWD, and everything is harder than ever before to work on. Oh, and I love that we’ve ignored our infrastructure for so long that you have to have a high suspension just to drive around. Truly a golden…
Blue shell would only hit the leader, which is the employee. You want a red shell, so you can pick off the offending tourist.
Never. We will never be free of it. Lemme tell you a little story...
If he were in Knoxville (the largest city in the area) you’d probably be right, but Maynardville is not a racially diverse town: according to the census, there are a grand total of three black people living there. More likely is that he’s on the trashiest rung of the white trash social ladder.
The town he lives in is overwhelmingly white. According to the census, there are only three black people living there. It’s possible one of those is a kid in his class that he mouthed off to, but more likely is he’s just on the bottom rung of the white trash social ladder.
Maybe. That town is only about 20 miles from me. As a general rule, around here the black people, latinxs, and other folks with melanin overwhelmingly live in Knoxville or the more built-up suburbs, not the rural areas. Maynardville (where this happened) is more than 98% ‘white’ according to the 2010 census. Not to…
Also, Donald Trump wasn’t either the president or a reality TV star. He was a rich real estate developer, but had nowhere near the level of public recognition he does now.
