They weren’t his bootstraps, they’re company property.

Of course. The people who shout the loudest about “America” and “freedom” are often the ones who immediately leap to the defense of giant corporations and police misconduct/brutality. They love their overlords.

So my question is, was Walmart receiving financial compensation for hiring this employee (which they do for hiring people on welfare so I can see them getting money for hiring parolees) and if so was that about to run out and if so is that, perhaps, why they discarded this man as carelessly and callously as the cans

This is so terribly sad to me. I’m not sure if I am just in a particularly morose mood, but I just can’t with this.

DISAGREE.

Buy if he’d taken them out of the cart (so customers don’t have to use carts with empty beer cans in them) and thrown them in the trash, that would be fine, right? Because it’s not like Wal-Mart wanted them. Wal-Mart just didn’t want him having them. Logically.

Right there with you. A thank-you present for those months of sacrifice, and for enduring the birth itself, that’s a lovely idea.

It’s really brave of Reid Ewing to discuss his plastic surgery and body issues so publicly - I feel like that’s such a taboo, especially for men. I’m glad he seems to be getting better!

“They are on a break,” an insider previously told us. “They were just a week or so ago talking about ‘ever after’ and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by her self and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that’s his one and only lady.”

End of Days, man, End of Days.

Mark, I’ve had a very long, very difficult week. And this is exactly what I need right now, as it’s 7:00 and I’m still finishing things up at work and just need to stare at otters for a couple minutes.

I recognize soooo many pieces in that top shot. It’s like a tour through our kitchen.

It’s heartbreaking, but I think not for the reasons she thinks it is. They seem to honestly believe the media exposure is the destructive force, and not the actions of Josh Duggar himself, much less the culture that fostered and covered for that behavior. My heart goes out to her, honestly.

When their fans proselytize to me about the Duggar’s economy and lack of ostentatious purchases, they can be silenced by a mention of the family’s private plane.

Oooh, the famous “what happened” instead of “what my husband did.” The passive voice is a staple of this genre.

“How could this happen?

This is really gross. I mean, this is real life. Just makes me feel icky. Just stop being on tv, Duggars. I don’t blame Anna for wanting to tell her story, but the whole thing seems exploitive and gross.

“If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.”

This is awesome not only for it’s frank depiction of abortion, but also because it means the end of Olivia/Fitz. I have not been watching Scandal for a hot minute because I just couldn’t deal w/ #Olitz anymore but sounds like they might FINALLY be done for good? Can we trust Shonda Rhimes? I don’t want to get invested
