It’s almost as if they looked at a cost/benefit analysis and decided this would allow them to both 1) profit in the shorter term and 2) get a PR bump that would allow them to continue the way they currently operate for a much longer period.

Sorry are you saying you can’t pull out your gun and engage in fights in crowded areas due to FPS dips/performance issues?
just wait. working from home and the blurring of lines between work and personal life will continue as we are all squeezed more and more in the search of ever shrinking available profits. soon every facet of your life will be associated with your work. this whole thing is a death cult and its impossible to leave.
and here it is. starfox and goldeneye were the reasons for me. I believe even Quake (KBM) was inverted? but I could be remembering wrong.
exactly my thinking. if you’re absolutely getting one and want to go through that, good on you. But for me, I’ll wait until next year and get whatever hardware revisions are available (if any). at the very least those initial hiccups will be fixed.
“stay home” well of course unless you have to work as you are a) essential or b) will be homeless if you miss a single paycheck

RDR2 was one of the best single player experiences I’ve had in some time...so I don’t know how they’re only focusing on multiplayer? And if that were the case, wouldn’t RDO be better? I’m confused as to your logic on this.
we have the most gridlocked government in modern history. agitation is the only way to affect meaningful change
“Godzilla Quietly Leaves Company Amidst Misconduct Allegations”
because he screwed it up in the last batman movie, so now he does it in every movie since to show he MEANT to do it and MEANS to do it
the last battle scene...were there actually any bad guys? I think they ran out of extras or Covid caused a problem with filming because I think I saw a total of 2 bad guys for THE ENTIRE BATTLE. For half of it I thought “ohhh its a trap there’s no one there” but they kept shooting and throwing grenades so I guess…
if only there was a line of thinkers who looked at this exact issue and came to a certain set of conclusions based on the material conditions of history...oh well, let’s try incremental regulation before the planet cooks
must be nice to be so bad at your job and still make so much money
