Second on the bit of honey. Once you go Yerba Mate it's hard to go back to crappy workplace coffee (not talking about what I make at home). To me it tastes like a strong mix of black and green teas.

The "Car Remote to the Head" trick is bunk. Hold the remote at about chin level and you'll notice it works better because you're holding it higher than the normal just-above-waist-level. Though I do find it terribly amusing to see people holding those to their chins. Bonus laughs when people also have their mouths in

There's that, but for me at least, that's not a fair trade for all of the free market research they're getting out of us.

This is all fine and well for cobwebs, but what about watering my hard-to-reach plants? Hopefully they invent a product before they shrivel and die.

I've tried a couple of Chome-like browsers for the iPad, but this is the first that really nails it. I turned off the "Hide address bar when scrolling" immediately, as if I'm at the bottom of a long wikipedia article I don't want to have to scroll to the top of the page just to get to the address bar. It was nice to

[www.hogbaysoftware.com] ...check out WriteRoom. Seems to be what you're asking for. It's not free, but it's very feature-rich. It's for Mac/iOS, and automatically syncs between the two. Not too shabby :)

The point of this is that they need to truly believe that the Google Voice number is your new number. Otherwise they'll just keep calling the number that was working for them.

pacing up and down the platform at a bus/train station has the added bonus of keeping people from wanting to talk to you!

@bmc: They're not saying the app is flawed in it's services. They're probably pointing out that you can open mobile Safari and go to the website for free. This doesn't offer anything that the website doesn't offer, except for an alarm. BTW, your iPhone has an alarm built into it already.

It's a neat idea, but I cant see myself spending money on something I can get for free via the internet. The iPhone has an alarm feature that vibrates when the volume's all the way down. I guess for most people the dollar is worth the convenience of not having to go to the website and set an alarm. :}
