Loved the article, was a great read. At the same time felt kinda thought cataloggy, elite dailish, mashable, upworthy type blog post so didn’t really expect to find it here.
Charles is great, Germain is great. With that being said give Evan some comic book articles too, I miss his reads!!
Wow yeah didn’t think about it that way. Can’t think of much else besides GTA V that come even close to managing that feat.
Please let this come to America, please.
Fuck...of course he’s from boston.
Man this guy might even be better than the Korean president’s bodyguard. PhD, works on real issues afflicting the world, beautiful hair, beautiful man, he’s the full package.
You deserve every star the universe has to give.
Yeah it’s racist AF out here.
That’s it? Figured there’d be more. Either way have all the stars :)
Now you’re just nitpicking cause you don’t want to be wrong. You’re still supporting my argument (now all of a sudden act like you’ve agreed the whole time that it’s not easy, even though I quote you saying “Yes it is.” up there), whether you want to attack the bit parts of it or not.
I see the “show for kids” one every freaking time Rebels or Clone wars is mentioned, coming from adults that would struggle to understand some of the moral concepts being presented in these shows and others like it such as the last airbender.
I can assure you that you having been homeless and being a Latino immigrant does not speak for an entire population in poverty. Sure your opinion is valid doesn’t mean it’s true for everyone however. Nor is it proof that healthy diets are easy for the majority of people in poverty to achieve.
I asked you that question in order to prove a point that your personal experiences wouldn’t speak for an entire population(spoiler: they don’t and didn’t), and did you read the article?
Lmgtfy or you can for yourself and find dozens of peer reviewed studies.
Hi I’m actually Korean/ Thai and I frequent Korean marts very often, do go on? Do you know what it is to be impoverished in a rural area without the conveniences a city provides?
Exactly and most people living in poverty don’t have the means nor time to spend to procure what is necessary for a healthy diet. Time costs money and the added cost of time is what makes eating healthy so difficult.
Sigh. Produce also tends to expire a lot faster than grits and processed foods; in terms of value for time and money produce is not the best deal, and as someone has also commented it is not the sole consideration in a healthy diet. Don’t think you’ve ever experienced poverty, not that that’s a bad thing.
It’s not easy to eat healthy for cheap unfortunately.
Aw c’mon, I like your other posts but to use an exception / exceptions is just a lazy way to try and hurt an argument. It’s like countering the statement “the majority of the population is poor” with “hey tell that to 1% of the population.” That’s what you did. Even in jest, it’s lazy.
