It also hurts watching him try to use wax as a polishing compound. I don’t think he understands that wax is not the kind of fine abrasive that is needed to polish sanded metal to a proper finish... He’d have had more luck with toothpaste if he was that insistent on not spending money on the right…

Between the use of olive oil for the handle and for sharpening, the way he clamps the handle to secure the blade, the poor “polishing” job, and the worst technique I’ve ever seen attempted with a sharpening stone, it’s clear this guy has absolutely no idea what he’s doing on several levels.
I think that’s more of a problem with society as a whole rather than with the goods themselves though. Most people just don’t want to go through the hassle, don’t understand the value behind repairing something, and in many cases are just simply unaware that it’s even an option.
That’s a rather cynical outlook.

Definitely useful if your goal is to test an OS, for very light use, or for running an OS and discarding changes on exit... But definitely not as practical as dual booting if you spend heavy amounts of time between OSes or even just use Windows as your primary OS.
