Hot take: the 996 is gorgeous. You people are smoking some bad crack. You should be ashamed of your drug dealer. Then you need to reevaluate your life choices.

I knew I recognized those tail lights...

Im not sure if this is quite at “Torch-weird” or “Tracy-weird” levels, but I owned a professionally rebuilt engine from the Chevy Citation/Pontiac Phoenix for 17 years.

This guy laughs at everybody in the house... while wearing shades, of course.

Ah, I see it now. According to my school computer, it’s been referenced nine times. Nine. Times.

Average? No. But if I have learned anything from real people not actors, its that the average person is dumb.

An honorable mention: get a Porsche 968.

Eggs are yellow. Those are egg whites.

This might sound blasphemous but the fried eggs are my favorite headlights of them all. I guess I can get my favorite body style cheap then

How To Make A Beautiful Car

1.) Look at Toyota’s current designs.
2.) Don’t.

Am I the only one who has no problem with the “brand stigma” side of things? People always look at the downsides (i.e. “You drive a KIA?”) but what about all of the upsides?

1. It’s a Kia... so you don’t come across as a pretentious asshole.
2. You don’t have to explain how you can afford it.
3. It’s a LOT of fun to give

Ah, the hated “7-10" split... Not just for bowling anymore.

Buzzkill engineer here.

It’s illegal if you import it as a “car”. It’s LEGAL if you import it as a “kit car” and have it assembled once all the parts are here...

now I want a Chrysler.

Ontario isn’t so bad.

I completely get this. I had an old muscle car for 15 years. Built not bought and all of that macho bullshit. It validated me as a “true car guy.” Except that it was hot and smelly. It didn’t really drive all that well. The family wouldn’t ride in it because it didn’t have AC. I didn’t like leaving it unattended in

I used to think that what I wanted in life (or at least, for my daily) was a classic musclecar restomod - classic musclecar looks on the outside, modern driveline and appliances on the inside. ‘Cause I want it to go fast, corner, stop, and I’m not putting up with the summer without AC.

Do you actually keep cars long enough for reliability to matter? Most cars can make it to 150k with only routine maintenance (tires, brakes, fluids). My father in law raves about Toyota reliability but trades them in at 35-40k because they need tires and brakes. His actions seem to contradict his viewpoint.
