Lifelong Alfa fan here, never once have I got the impression you, or anyone at Jalopnik, wanted to tarnish Alfa’s image. Alfa does a good enough job of that itself. If anything it seems most of you quite like certain Alfas, in spite of their flaws

It’s a CUV which I have argued is really just the natural evolution of the wagon form as consumers demand for AWD and more space, but end of the day you have all the hallmarks of a 5 door wagon, independent suspension, front wheel…

Overly aggressive normal cars. Toyota and Honda sell so many cars to people who just don’t care about cars, and now they’re trying to make them look like they want them to star in the next Transformers movie. It doesn’t make a good business case to me, they’re going to turn a bunch of loyal customers off like Lexus…

Car people suck. Most of them have their craniums so far up their colon for their own particular style, brand, point of origin, etc, that they have to constantly belittle anyone/anything that doesn’t conform to their limited world. The small minority that don’t fall into the larger majority, refuse to talk to anyone…

“German Quality”, i know people still swear by it and live buy. They think that everything German is built to last. But i just dont buy it and its just not true. Its more marketing than any actual quality if you ask me.
