Nailed it! I fit the demographic just as well as you do, and I have the same thoughts as you exactly.

"Scion says the iM was inspired by European touring cars"

Ok, yep, I can see the resemblance, however I had to read that sentence to realize that...

Anyway, I am a young person, and have zero interest in this car.

Also can I please get Jalopnik to subscribe to me or whatever it is that I have to do to get out of this 'pending reply' camp? I've been here for months! So annoying.

This! Owner must be in the process of producing a kit on it, while using the car :/

I was almost in tears for how much I did not enjoy the Versa Sedan. Obviously it is just a mainstream, ordinary car, but damn, this car had NOTHING appealing about it. The seating position was so high I felt like I was driving a bus. Even my parents' old 2005 Kia Rio was more exciting because at least it felt

YES! Finally someone has the exact opinion on the design as I do. I like it overall, but that rear end especially with those taillights, yeah definitely not timeless. And those other touches, yes, I know exactly what you're thinking ahha.

Personally I like that idea. I see it as being "more true" to the original car. Much like rebadging a 350Z as a FairladyZ.

I actaully LOVE the Fairlady name! Yes I understand its a bit silly-sounding to us but I think it's entertaining. If your lady is being unfair then trade her in for a Fairlady! :)

We are talking about the engine being in front of the front wheels though, which creates a great overhang from the front wheels forward. This Corvette doesn't have that long of an overhang since I am sure the engine sits more behind the front axle/wheels.

Also I have been commenting on here for a couple months now and my comments are still always pending. Kinda getting on my nerves.

I do not think this is disappointing at all. In fact I love the quotation "Our entry model is our pre-owned program." . This kind of mind set prevents a more prestigious automaker like Porsche from becoming 'watered-down' as so many other premium auto makers have dabbled into doing. I am aware that many brands have

I dont' know, but you might be thinking of the 3000GT

I thought it looked dated right when it came out, but apparently I was the only one.

True. But I wonder if this is a matter of finances. From what I have been told, it seemed that producing and selling the Cayenne prevented Porsche from basically no longer existing. I wonder if Ferrari is in a similar state now as Porsche was ten years ago, but somehow I doubt it.

Also if I could please stop waiting for all my comments to get approved, that would be greeeeeeeat.

Agreed on all points. Like you, I love a number of Ferrari models but not so much the company itself these days. But that said, not every car brand needs to produce a mainstream vehicle to grab extra money, which is what I am afraid of happening with Ferrari in the near future: should they decide to unveil an SUV (or

So, it was worth $55k because it came with the suspension it was supposed to have to begin with? Seems legit.

That said, I like it too, but would never be able to get over that interior :/ even back in 2000.

Life's too short to drive boring cars!

I've been driving my modified Tiburon for 5 years now, and have yet to get bored, and I think this is one of the reasons why I haven't been involved in mind-wandering related trouble. My mind does wander, but that's usually cut short when a series of pot holes or other debris

Pretty sure 707 is a joke that it's "LOL" upside-down

I lol'd though.
