Oh what wonderful webs the media weaves. The compound is not in Islamabad, was not in Islamabad, will never be in Islamabad. It's in abottabad, which is NOT a suburb of Islamabad. In fact it's a 1.5 hr drive. a lot of it was media propaganda to suggest he was hiding out IN the capital city, when he wasn't any where

Uhhhh yeahhh it's a mystery what they could possibly. I see no clues at all in that picture. Hmmm...blue table cloths?

"They're still putting out feelers as to whether or not consumers would actually want photos of their dog, cat, or even vacation shots converted to extruded 3D sculptures"

I hate cases but this might be the perfect non-case protection for the iPhone. Although i would still like to know how they intend for the phone to work perfectly despite the coating. Covering something like a tissue is one thing, or even the inner electronic components I can understand, but a phone, in which you

Like I said, could be the angle. And yet that iPhone looks slimmer than that moto above. That moto does look like an Casio pocket pc I swear it.

Maybe it's the angle in the picture but that phone looks fucking fat compared to the norm nowadays. Almost reminds me of the Casio e-something pocket pc's. I loved the design but certainly chunky considering what we've gotten used to.

Noooooooooooooo!!!!! I soooo wanted a lumia 800 with front facing camera but same screen size. Just can't handle hulk sized phones, they make my suit pockets bulge out like I'm happy to see everyone. Plus even though I've got some pretty decent sized hands I don't find holding these behemoth phones comfortable at all.

That's the same issue I had with the razor and new galaxy nexus. Oddly enough, I recently bought a 50$ android phone from lg in post Christmas sale as a gift, and it has a measly 3.2 inch screen, but quite honestly I didn't mind the smaller keyboard or screen, even though the resolution is way below what I'm used to.

If apple, moves on to a 4+ inch screen, I will re evaluate my choices, which are based on trade offs such as convenience of the new size, what other platforms have to offer me, if I can migrate all my data to another platform, if I can find all my apps, and if another platform offers me the ease of use and maintenance

Yep, and that's what an opinion is by definition, isn't it. Not fact, or scientific by any stretch, but just anecdotal evidence. Nothing to get offended by. But yeah thanks for clarification.

I travel pretty frequently and Last time I was in london, about 3 months ago, the displays at least at that point weren't as full of super sized phones as I generally see in the US. But yes moto Sammy etc all have a presence there so I'm sure you see the larger phones there too. I wear suits a lot, and I find the

Isnt a fanboy someone who blindly stands in the face of logic and reason without trying to understand someone else's opinion? Just because I don't agree with you doesn't make me a fanboy. If you read carefully I said that I'm sure a lot of people find larger screens useful I'm sure. And " PERSONALLY" I don't like

Man what's with this super sizatiom of everything in north America. As a person that prefers sleek slender pocketable things I'm really starting to resent the trend of humongous screens on phones. Pretty much ensures I'm sticking to apple and an iPhone forever and ever.

Very well said.

So I guess then the fundamental right is the equal right to information

It's unfortunate the state that android is in regards to upgrades. Works very well for carriers and manufacturers in the short term though since android is now on devices in all price points, and it's almost because the Nokia os of smartphones. Most people get what's on their device, and don't bother updating because

"Trademarks are supposed to protect the public from companies making fake versions of brand name products, and to prevent confusion between similar products."

The point of trademarks isn't just that they are applicable to infringement involving similar products. Its more about a company profiting from a brand that another company has built up goodwill for. For example, louis vitton makes bags, not clothes (as far as i know), but tomorrow if someone slaps a LV label onto

what i never understood about the FOIA was what is really stopping the government from obscuring things truly important that it wants to keep secret. I've requested certain things under FOIA, personal records of travel, etc, but for things truly important, that the citizens of a country might be interested in knowing

sounds only somewhat misleading, maybe in the sense that we as viewers of these documentaries by now expect the BBC to only have real life scenes, and place a certain trust in that. ANyway, its a small thing considering all the great stuff they've made, and I honestly don't care other than that nagging feeling now
