@protodad: Sugar (sucrose) and HFCS (fructose) are not the same in terms of the physiological and psychological response to their consumption (or to their being withheld).

@Shai: Yes, and so? That delay is what prevents sucrose/table sugar from imparting the addictive rush associated with consumption of corn sweeteners/fructose.

@protodad: What's in a name? HFCS by any other name is significantly worse than sucrose.

People should watch the feature documentary "King Corn" to get just a smattering of an idea of how fully developed and entrenched the corn industry is in the U.S. "King Corn" can be streamed on Netflix.

@OCEntertainment: The "matter" is that the test may have been very unfair. For all we know, all other phones were on Verizon with a nearby tower, while the nearest AT&T tower was miles away.
