Frankly, if I had to guess, 80% of males have made sexist comments at one point in their lives, and of the 20% that have not, 50% have probably thought sexist thoughts but just never said it out loud. But I would guess only 15% or so males actually act sexist towards women on a regular basis.

I agree that that’s the issue with his statement. It shows a limited understanding of gender, sexual preference, and anatomy on his part. But in general I don’t see anything wrong with his reasoning.
