I really don't think you are looking at it from the same perspective as the market is coming from.
At least it isn't Magnemite/Magneton or Voltorb. *Shudder*
Sadly news like this simply means we get more fakes and collector's edition cards coming through retail channels from people picking up cards "at a great deal" and hoping to sell them to stores like mine for thousands.
Ah well. Time to educate people once again on how to look for fakes.
Be thankful though, if everyone had the foresight to hold on to their old cards they would be worthless and the game probably wouldn't exist as we know it today.
Elephant Graveyards still sell for 25-30 each depending on condition and edition.
Ebay sellers that are selling 5k for a penny are scamming or setting their shipping to obscene amounts. You can get bulk collections in that range for $50 but it is mostly junk.
Take some time and hit up sites like TCG player or…
Cards that remain in competitive play retain considerable value, and other cards that were very short printed during their initial run like Shining Charizard, (most shining cards from Neo Destiny for that matter) Wailord EX from EX-Sandstorm Rocket's EX pokemon from Team Rocket Returns and others have keep to a decent…
Apparently you haven't visited any competitive areas with Pokemon TCG players, that stuff gets pretty hardcore and is just as competitive as any other games, often with more players than everything but maybe Magic (and sometimes Yugioh) at major events.
It is almost as ridiculous as Metal subgenres.
Morgan Freeman, Wil Arnett, Chris Pratt, Will Ferrel. Those are things you missed.
Oh and Donatello, Michaelangelo, Michaelangelo (the turtle), 1980's space guy, Superman, 2002 NBA All-Stars, Wonder Woman, Green Ninja. To name a few.
So I wonder how/if this plays games like Minigore, Age of Zombies, Meltdown and other twin stick shooters? Those are the games that have made me decide I really want a controller peripheral for my iPhone.
100$ is a hard pill to swallow, I'd be happy with just a pass through port.
I spend my time not being fun at parties and being that guy that diffuses those situations where there could be super big drama. Or so the internet has told me.
I normally would agree, but lately my imagination has instituted a members-only policy, so I can't get in until I pay my fees.
that Fifa 12 cover is amazing! Center player is obviously screaming his lungs out in an awkward Steve Ballmer-inspired rendition of "What do the simple folk do" from the musical "Camelot".
Meanwhile our player on the left is wondering why red went off script and is considering ad libbing a heart attack to ensure they…
I was trying to remember what I did to piss off the cover athletes, but when I asked I was just informed "You know what you did, and I shouldn't have to tell you."
DR3 looks like more Dead Rising to me, which will probably be my first purchase when I eventually get an Xbox One.
However with the "Gender Identity" comment, I have to say in that clip, -unless I am missing something- that character clearly identifies as female, and the "prideful" achievement seems to be more about…
Sadly I couldn't find the "Here a mark..." card. but this shall do for now.
I really get the feeling that guy is the manager of the rest of the soccer club or something. Like he's there but isn't organically part of the shindig.
Well aside from taking your "even if dead" spouse to the sock hop this friday, I assume pretty much "anything" is fair game.
