Unless it is ridiculously overpowered and not available in a tin 6 months after release like all the huge EX cards have been, I wouldn't hold my breath.
Fire has been doing fairly well in the competitive scene but psychic/dark/dragon are still ruling the boards for now. Fairy will change things pretty seriously though.
