It’s funny, in my office we use fax (from email) more than ever and we are mostly millenials with a few Gen Z in the mix too.

I was thinking the same thing, since most screens are android-based now there could be an android smart-TV-style display for the passenger with separate apps that are essentially expanded versions of the driver display. Maps? allow destination and route planning, links to information and reservations, etc. Music?…
Not surprising at all. Also not surprising that someone that owns 8 cars and is genius enough to buy a Cybertruck is such a knob to think Geico is a good option for coverage for a collection.
Tesla doesn’t offer insurance in all states, so some people are SOL going that direction (even though their insurance sucks from what I’ve heard)
I’d like to see Garage 54 take a crack at it. You’re not going to get a sear, but you could definitely engineer some sort of either exhaust pipe or metal radiator hose that routes hot air or coolant in a spiral around a crock pot insert, with maybe a squared off side of the pipe to have extra contact on the pot.
Unfortunately that’s not a really good analogy, because the phone was owned by an adult and so was the credit card used on the account. The store doesn’t have liability if an adult buys beer, goes home and gives it to their kid saying throw a party.
I feel like there could be an easy regulation put in place that arbitration clauses are only enforceable if the claim is under $x limit. I understand a bad order, a broken arm in a car accident, etc something under $10k could be forced arbitration, but if you literally just almost died and have half a million in…
Jalops: Give us small trucks!
This is a confusing metric without clarification. Is it based on the average price specific to model year and mileage, or just the average of every car of that make and model for sale currently?
Pretty sure there’s a big difference between paint developed by Rolls Royce and a wrap that’s going to be put on the local drug dealer’s girlfriend’s clapped out Lexus, Infiniti G37, or Genesis Coupe with plastidipped wheels...
Mine started out in a situation we’ve probably all been in. Going onto a highway onramp where two lanes merge into one. I was in the lane that was ending (not trying to jump the line, it was just a double lane left turn onto the onramp and I needed to get over), and there was a pretty long line of cars behind in the…
Oh I agree they’re fun for sure, but you know exactly what I mean that it’s not the same. Still takes talent to be good at it, but in the end it’s pushing buttons to make pre-recorded sounds appear on screen. Still I’d much rather pick up a Les Paul and play a song myself over playing Guitar Hero, or see a live…
If you’re appreciation for cars is mainly basic transportation then definitely. I’d definitely be rocking a manual diesel Duster if they came here even though that’s not my preferred segment. If your job/passion is driving and reviewing the top end of automotive performance, my guess is nothing would really change…
The reason they only have 6 new cars and most are old is because their prices are absolute dogshit.
A bit of a yawn from me. Was the P1 even really that memorable? Yeah it was fast, but it’s just another hybrid hypercar and looks exactly the same as every other modern McLaren.
He’s got a completely different appreciation for cars than Jeremy though. He was just on TST podcast and talked about how yeah he has a Ferrari and some older cars but almost never drives them, he’s more about how they look. And his real appreciation is for basic transportation which is still VERY available in Europe,…
It’s a lot more than just government regulations on emissions and fuel economy that incentivized giant cars that got people to move to bigger stuff. There’s also the demand for more technology (and requirement for increased safety tech), which drives up prices of every car. So for a lot of people if you’re going to…
It’s the real vs fake feeling which is the same everywhere else in life. Where you can technically “do” more with the digital option, but it doesn’t matter because it’s just not the same. Other examples include:
He’s not wrong though. As transportation devices yes new cars may be “better” in some ways such as safety and environmental friendliness, but reliability is always a question mark, and those things aren’t what he focuses on because that’s not what his audience focuses on, just like Road & Track doesn’t focus on how…
My favorite was the German Herr/Hair stig with the mullet from the track-day sedans episode.
