Did they actually sell any of the LC hybrids? They cut 100 hp and got rid of the amazing V8 sound AND charged more so you could get upper 20s MPG on your $100k+ weekend car you’ll drive maybe 5k miles/year.

They’ve been put on a pedestal by people who were 12 years old when Gran Turismo came out and further bolstered by a connection to a mediocre movie and a boring actor. I don’t think I am. The total number of miles driven in the US is 3.2 trillion miles annually. There are over 5 million car accidents every year including both fatal (~40k) and non-fatal. That’s, what, one accident for ever 640k miles traveled? A 99.9999985% success rate.

The Tesla “handling” claim is maneuverability, not handling.
