Woah there’s even grass growing out of the tires! /s

It’s not really the same price as those though. Yeah if you’re loading up an F150 to a Platinum you’re going to be close to an AWD Cybertruck but the CT is “est” $80k starting for an AWD which is basically minimum equipment for most truck buyers. But right now most of the trucks being delivered are the Beast variant

Trump was friends with the Clintons long before he announced his candidacy and Elon was hated by the right for years. Yeah they’re top tier shitty but it’s amazing how much shittiness people will put up with if you’re on their side of politics.

Richard Zhang, a Cybertruck owner from Pittsburgh, said the vast majority of the interactions he has about his truck have been positive. But the negative ones are really, really negative.”

Honestly don’t get what the hate for these is aside from bullshit gatekeeping. Not willing to risk your life as much as us? Psh...

The cracked windshield with a loan does invite some fair assumptions. Because of the loan they’re required to insure it for physical damage coverage, but not repairing the glass means one of two things. Either they were too cheap to spring for full glass coverage and didn’t want to spend their deductible for the

When I was selling cars we had one that one of my clients was looking at. Aside from what we see now with there really not being a price floor compared to other contemporaries, there was one benefit at the time. Extended warranties were cheap because it rated as a 1.5l engine, which wouldn’t apply for this because

If they actually enforced the laws like left lane for passing, no tailgating, headlights on, phone use, etc...

My question though is if it was on the edge why didn’t they ask for a paystub upfront figuring they’d probably need it? If they asked for a paystub and then it got declined the income probably didn’t add up to his claimed total (or the F&I person fudged it to try to get an approval), but either way it’s 100% the

“did not want to be bound by the (retail installment sales) contract.”

They seem to be attracting the customers that would otherwise buy a Ram Rebel. The guys who are probably a total bro but not the asshole kind. Those guys are getting squatted/lifted trucks or flooring it everywhere in a TRX.

This is the last generation before they got all blobby and overinflated-looking, so there’s that. I’d like to think the buyer was some older gentleman who DID buy a newer Corolla for his wife and she couldn’t figure out any of the tech. She made a big fuss about it and complained every time she got in the car so to

My choices may be skewed a bit by the fact that they’re not supercars and to the average person look like normal cars, which does up the impressiveness factor compared to something like a Ferrari that you expect to sound amazing, but:

Toyota is winning because they finally got the Tonka Truck styling to work, at least in the eyes of the truck buying public.

I really wish May’s stuff would be more popular so people would understand my references to it.

To be fair, being washed out and poor displays was really the standard of the time, no one had really figured out how to get good visible high quality displays that you could also read with polarized sunglasses.

Yeah we had baseball-sized hail in a small part of MN near me over the weekend. If tiny hail counts as a trace amount of snow, baseball size is at least 2 inches in July, right!?

If you’re the type of driver that thinks good handling means you can take a 30mph exit ramp at 50 then you probably wouldn’t notice. So... good to hear BMW is helmed by real drivers then.

No, it was also Fender. They used Fender sound systems for a couple cars including the MK7 GTI, and it sounded pretty good.

Came here to say this too. We have the wagon and it’s been awesome. Folds up nice and compact and the wheels come off super easy to fit into a sedan trunk and it’s held up nicely for us after a year or so of use so far.
