The EQS is a sedan, the EV equivalent to the S-Class. I get Teslas are an exception for most people but I also just heard the Vehicle Virgins guy complain with Matt Farah about his Model S tire wear.

I’m 5'9" and my wife is 5'4" and we both can fit a rear-facing car seat behind us in ours. Not sure about the lower roofline for adults but the ICE one does work as a passenger car for sure.

I’m on the it’s a mistake to go all-in on EVs bandwagon for Porsche, especially with the SUVs. The Macan is a very nice car to drive, and I’ve seen more than a few owners put a lot of miles on theirs. Ours has 500 miles of highway range or ~300 towing our trailer, summer or winter. When you’re a sports car company

Oh man, these are so awesome. One of very few car’s I’d prefer in a coupe though. They still have great presence on the road and aren’t totally antiquated with a 5-speed and more power than a contemporary Corvette. NP

You’re right it didn’t have to be this good because the stupid potato-looking last-gen sold just fine. But I’m glad they did. I absolutely loathe the prior-gen Trax, basically for the looks alone because how could anyone with not even a design degree but common sense think it was good looking? No, this is really good,

Not just the ride, but lack of cold-weather and snow traction.

Ok but look at it objectively cost-wise. A 2023 MB S580 4Matic gets 16 city/25 hwy mpg. The sticker says if you drive the 15k/year at the average fuel cost you spend $7,250 more in fuel than the average vehicle over 5 years.

Add in the fact that most of the compact SUVs could only be had in FWD with a manual, this is pretty special.

Can’t get a picture of anywhere in MN without seeing a Kris Lindahl sign...

in 2029 the Model 3 will probably be $45k+ so it’ll still be a base model.

Hey VW, GFY.

So my predictions: we’ll see it in 2029. The $25k price will be claimed to be 2018 dollars, so the “real” price will be $39,995. At that price it will be a RWD model, short range, black only, not available until 2031 and will be discontinued after one year. After that it’ll be a $50k starting price.

I only get the BMT or spicy Italian but I’ve never noticed a difference. Also have never seen anyone actively slicing, the slicer is always off, cleaned, and just sitting there in the background.

The original X3, the 3.0si. si almost always meant rear wheel drive, but in the X3 they’re all AWD. Confuses the hell out of me for a second every time I see one in the winter in MN.

Yeah I’m not as up to date on it as I was since I stopped selling cars in 2022 but at least half of my business every Nov-Dec was small business owners getting big SUVs in the company name.

Yep, you’ll find gems of dealers like the one in CA that had like 20 BMW Individual color 3-series wagons or an MB dealer in KS that had all kinds of Manufaktur ordered cars, and they’ll all be the only one or one of very few in the country. So if you want it you go to them and they’ll get MSRP or above for most of

Yeah this has been a thing forever, but my wife and I tried it a couple of years ago and have gone back to the same restaurant multiple times mostly because of their olive oil gelato.

What is the “it” that’s being seen as a defeat device referring to? If it’s software that decreases emissions when the AC is off, then yes you’re correct. If “it” is the fact that the AC is off during testing conditions (as it is with all cars) and the fact that it gets lower emissions simply because the AC is off

According to Bild, internal files suggest the X3s emitted less nitrogen oxides when — among other things — the air conditioning is switched off. During lab testing, air conditioners usually stay off, and people familiar with the process tell Bild it is being seen as a “defeat device” which is not allowed. Shocking, I

From my experience it’s mostly not because people are boring, but just that they have no imagination. I had two sales managers that had opposite theories with this. One ordered all black and white cars, assuming if someone wanted a color they could order or we’d trade for one (this was before ordering was really a
