Couple things:

Will the EPA need to test this though? At a certain GVWR they don’t like on 3/4 ton and commercial trucks.

No pretty sure it’s an SM or similar. Long, low fastback style with the glass hatch and unmistakable citroen front end.

What are you talking about? Insurance isn’t buying a coupon book that you “use” for discounted repairs. If you’re paying for insurance you’re “using” it.

It ended fine but here’s mine:

They don’t test everything, due to limited budget and time they only test volume sellers unless the manufacturer pays to have them tested. Walk into any luxury car dealer and you’ll see all kinds of cars without star ratings on the stickers.

I’d bet most of those $6-8k bills also had a lot of “while you’re in there” things included in that price unless they’re from somewhere like CA. Dealer I worked at in the midwest was I believe $1,500-2,250-ish per axle for a non-AMG.

So, the company that can’t secure a car or make engines that don’t need rebuilds at 100k miles wants to make tires? And tires that are overly complex and just stupid? Just wait for the damn plows to go through and have normal winter tires, studded if legal.

That’s why I’m leaning towards they’re gang members trying to sell a stolen car and got some idea that the kid could tell it was stolen.

I understand that “Toyotas and Lexuses last forever,” that doesn’t negate my comment that MOST cars go through a life cycle, where even though their engines could go half a million miles or more, they likely won’t for various reasons. First and second owners are most likely to keep their cars in good condition, but

So... it’s a non-alcoholic version of an alcoholic version of a non-alcoholic drink?

How stupid are they to accuse someone of eating that!? They’re fed up there, and it’s just a little tomato. I like tomatoes but come on. It’s not like they were given perfectly cooked steaks and told them not to eat them while left to starve...

Isn’t that why they’re in court? To prove responsibility?

If you can all be full for less than $10/person I’d say it’s fine, the closer you get to that amount the better the pizza should be of course, and if there’s some “destination” pizza that’s a special trip that can be more.

That’s the problem, it works for them so they’re saying this is the only way anyone can do it, regardless of if it works for you. They’re not allowing hybrids with the current implementation.

Series hybrid is really the answer, maybe even propane since they already offer that option. 100 mile electric range with a range extender for edge uses, and can still charge up fully overnight for 14 hours.

Yeah I see all kinds of problems with this:

Since their only main use is morning and afternoon bus routes, school buses are used for field trips and sporting events all the time in off-hours. The away game is a just an example where it REALLY wouldn’t work. And with the total ban on emissions, it’s not like they’d be able to have another bus sitting waiting for

A few years back the dealer I worked at got a 2000-ish Monte Carlo SS with stupidly low miles, like 500. Guy had bought it then died right away, and the wife held onto it forever for whatever reason (sentimental, thought it would be worth money someday, etc.) and their son actually did the right thing with it and

Yeah no, if you put any fault on the kid it’s victim blaming. Pulling a gun and shooting someone is 100% the decision of the shooter no matter the situation. The only exception to that is if you shoot someone in self-defense because the other person had a gun and was threatening/shooting at you, but in that case
