How stupid are they to accuse someone of eating that!? They’re fed up there, and it’s just a little tomato. I like tomatoes but come on. It’s not like they were given perfectly cooked steaks and told them not to eat them while left to starve...

Isn’t that why they’re in court? To prove responsibility?

If you can all be full for less than $10/person I’d say it’s fine, the closer you get to that amount the better the pizza should be of course, and if there’s some “destination” pizza that’s a special trip that can be more.

That’s the problem, it works for them so they’re saying this is the only way anyone can do it, regardless of if it works for you. They’re not allowing hybrids with the current implementation.

Series hybrid is really the answer, maybe even propane since they already offer that option. 100 mile electric range with a range extender for edge uses, and can still charge up fully overnight for 14 hours.

Yeah I see all kinds of problems with this:

Since their only main use is morning and afternoon bus routes, school buses are used for field trips and sporting events all the time in off-hours. The away game is a just an example where it REALLY wouldn’t work. And with the total ban on emissions, it’s not like they’d be able to have another bus sitting waiting for

A few years back the dealer I worked at got a 2000-ish Monte Carlo SS with stupidly low miles, like 500. Guy had bought it then died right away, and the wife held onto it forever for whatever reason (sentimental, thought it would be worth money someday, etc.) and their son actually did the right thing with it and

Yeah no, if you put any fault on the kid it’s victim blaming. Pulling a gun and shooting someone is 100% the decision of the shooter no matter the situation. The only exception to that is if you shoot someone in self-defense because the other person had a gun and was threatening/shooting at you, but in that case

Yeah there’s plenty, but they’re scrapped/sold by the owners that are most likely to keep them maintained the best aka the first or second owners. With the exception of cars that have real market value still at high miles like Tacomas and Radwood-era classics, most of the cars for sale with that kind of miles are

Forgot about those, but there’s also a difference with taxis and limos, they’re also driven a lot more per year, and being an income source there’s a bigger financial incentive to keep them well-maintained. If you’re driving a car privately 100k miles per year, the most likely scenario is a long commute or for example

To be fair, most cars in the real world won’t make it to 300k on an engine because they’re scrapped before then, they have age-related failures and lack of maintenance.

Probably because Cadillacs other than the Escalade don’t sell so they need to price them cheaply, the Blazer sells pretty well OTOH.

They’re great if you actually use them. When I sold cars we had a few occasionally and they were all lower mileage, and had lots of stupid issues from sitting even a couple of weeks on the lot. The QPs we had didn’t have those issues...

I know the recommendations are a lot of times jokes, but please dear God stop recommending Kias.

There’s hundreds of listicles online of crazy FB/CL buyers and sellers message threads, not surprised it found its way into the real world eventually. Could be gang member with itchy trigger finger that got lowballed, the kid pointed out something wrong with the car, or realized it was actually stolen and they thought

The Ns are too new, we won’t find out they cheaped out on those for another couple years.

I thought the same thing, but they have clearly shown that they’ve cheapened out critically in more ways than one (security and engine design/quality). I’m firmly on the fuck Hyundai/Kia train now, even moreso than Tesla, because at least they’re screwing over rich idiots while Hyundai/Kia is hurting people that can’t

I agree that the Stelvio might be more of an exciting car in the handling department, but I think that’s more because of the quick steering rack and softer suspension. Unless you’re talking about a Quad vs a GTS, the Stelvio’s got a higher center of gravity and has skinnier tires than most versions of the Macan. C&D’s

Maybe that’s why they said it wasn’t a well-oiled machine like the CT4...
