“Grrrr you guys hate Tesla! There’s lots of options!”

It’s not being repaired by Tesla though. It’s being repaired by a Tesla-approved body shop. So if the shop says it needs this repair which requires this many hours labor and so much in parts, yeah Tesla may know the cost of the parts but they may argue some may not need to be replaced, repaired, etc and approve say

I highly doubt most vegans would eat it just like a lot won’t eat impossible stuff either.

He’s using lab-created foods as a catch-all for things he thinks are icky because he can’t pronounce them, like people use the word chemicals and processed as negatives.

Gotta put this into context though, it’s the UK. They’d probably fine you for “ecological disturbance” if you stepped in dirt wrong and left a footprint.

It always makes me wonder who the people always complaining about insurance on here use. If you’re insured with the equivalent of Spirit Airlines, of course you’re going to have a shitty experience and they’re going to charge you extra for everything after you have a claim.

There’s plenty of brands I have had respect for in the past but can’t stand anymore (looking at you Kia, Hyundai, and Nissan), but the best car from the company I hate the most is the Cybertruck.

You mean Matt LeBlanc? I don’t remember Matt Damon even being on as a guest.

Higher scores are based on responsiveness from adjusters, their willingness to pay for repairs to be done the right way with the right parts, less back and forth between the adjuster and shop, etc. So it will affect the customer in a lot of ways.

What a weird slideshow, yeah some of them had great memories watching the show and gave excellent responses and the others were like they were invited to do a eulogy for a stranger. “I didn’t know him at all, but someone told me he did this thing so here it is.”

You can do either, many states if you’re injured that goes under your own no-fault but the physical damage can be filed with the other party. You probably (definitely) won’t get as good of service with a company you’re not paying money to but you don’t get charged your deductible and won’t have a claim on your record.

Look up Crash Network insurer report card. They survey body shops on how well the companies work with them, if they try to cheap out on repairs, etc.

Exactly, too many people that didn’t have enough personality for a full spot, or overdone personality who’s only knowledge of cars is “I have a lot of Ferraris” (cough Chris Evans)

Yeah the article linked above says Jaguar driver and mentions the guy he backed into went on the luggage rack, I would assume E-Type from that.

Luckily for the person arrested, it happened in California, where the laws are made up and the charges don’t mean anything.

Aside from the one (two maybe?) seasons after Clarkson, Hammond, and May left, I thoroughly enjoyed watching all seasons. Absolutely hated Chris Evans and didn’t care for the old guy or Rory Reid in anything they did through that, since it was all literally riding on the coattails of the old guys. Seriously they would

I was just assuming since he’s a tech guy that he’d have an EV, but even if it was a normal gas car he’d still be similar to a normal person.

So labor costs won’t change MSRP, sure, but there’s always a chance it could change the invoice price to offset the lost profit. This would eat into dealership profits and sales commission, which would further encourage markups.

I’m also wondering since they mention having lots of cars how they’re calculating that. I mean, I’m sure Bill Gates has a pretty substantial car collection, are the emissions for those based on the calculated annual emissions of each car for the average mileage? Or are they using an assumption of, say, 15k miles

Definitely an E53
