The GTI hater clearly never put it in sport mode. The DSG in normal drive feels like a normal car and shifts up quickly for MPG. Sport mode completely transforms the car. And the build quality at least in our MK7 was great.

You really can’t though, every dealer has enough clientele to fill out the allocations for the special cars, you need to have a long relationship with one dealer to get the good stuff.

Porsche as a manufacturer doesn’t do it, but since allocations for things like GT cars are so rare dealers will do this 100%.
