Yeah hard to believe. 2 out of our 3 cars are manual including my daily and have driven manual almost every single day for the past 9 years. I don’t stall often but it does happen on occasion, it happens to everyone that drives a manual no matter the experience level.

This. My N55 has been bulletproof, the only drivetrain issue I’ve ever had is a CEL that just came on at 135k that I haven’t had the time to scan yet. Other than that just normal maintenance and a surprising amount can be done at home on my own. The B58 is based heavily on the N55 so I can only assume it will continue

What wasn’t surprising though, was that their other cousin, Cat Hydrogen, didn’t go far in life. He’s currently unable to leave the state of California.

The MKIV was cool because its robust engine says Toyota on it. Indications are the B58 is potentially even more robust than the 2JZ but of course they won’t accept that because it’s German and therefore unreliable.

I have no idea what the price is relative to other pristine Esprits, but if I was looking for one of these this is what I’d be buying. It seems to have been updated in ways that will hopefully make it more reliable and serviceable in the future, and you’re still starting with a fully restored car too.

Vehicle Identification Number Diesel was really meant to be in car movies though...

Toyota trucks, particularly the 4-Runner and Tacoma, and I’ll lump the last-gen Nissan Frontier in there with them.

It’s hard to appreciate without actually spending a good amount of time in one. It really takes a good road trip, I didn’t get a good appreciation of any of our cars build quality and premium feeling until we took our first 4+ hour trip in them.

It’s the same reason so many Star Wars “fans” hate everything made after 1990. They get in their head what it should be and won’t accept anything else.

I understand that it no longer means the actual displacement for marketing reasons, but it isn’t even the discussion.

But 550 has been a Mercedes moniker for almost two decades, and Lexus has been using the 570 for years, why couldn’t they keep with the 570? 600 goes back even further too. To be fair I did point out this isn’t just Lexus, Cadillac pulled the 600 number out of their ass to make the Escalade look as prestigious as a

I didn’t even realize they called it the 550 until just now, it’s amazing that now that the numbers are meaningless they’ve joined Cadillac in blatantly copying the numbers that Mercedes are known for in their high-end. But there, 550 was a V8 only and 600 was V12...

The only time music has ever been tied to a car for me was when I had to use CDs because of no ipod/phone connection. The first one was a Porsche 928 which I grabbed the first CD I found and it ended up staying in the car for years, that was Pillar’s For the Love of the Game album.

The check interior is only on the early ones, so it’s basically a choice of that or the better engine and (IMO) better looking body details. Yes lots of parts are not available but like other cars in that boat there’s plenty of sources for rebuilds and lots of specialists that go out of their way to source the right

I’m definitely not a physicist or medical researcher, so I have no idea. I just know that you can simulate gravity with rotation like they show the g-force training in movies and those spinning rides at the fair where you can basically lay stuck on the wall, and wonder if that has been considered to research

Hey now a $50k budget isn’t that bad! There’s loads of other cars you could buy for that money.

So that explains aliens shapes. Big head, more room for ventricles, and scrawny arms and legs from no gravity.

Yeah even if there were 10k before the purge, there was something like 1 trillion people on Coruscant alone. That’s one for every 100 million people on Coruscant alone if they were all there at once. There would be more Avengers per capita in NYC. Enough to know who they are and the stories, but not common enough to

Here’s the thing though, any Jedi that’s not fallen will end up fighting for good aka against the empire, that’s just what they do. There’s a clear timeline already established where different small factions rebel throughout the galaxy and end up forming the rebel alliance after many years of working both on their own

I can’t for the life of me remember. I sold a few of these and the LX as well used and I think one of them folded down but not flat and one folded up sideways. Both of them took up a lot of space in the trunk so plenty of people actually preferred the 5-seat version.
