$60 is AAA price for a game that isn't really AAA. Lucky for me Amazon somehow delivered two copies, so I'll return one and the game is essentially free for me.

During the 16 or 32-bit era, I remember reading that retail bought video game hardware at cost and made money on software. Given the uniformity of hardware prices across the industry, I would imagine that's still probably close to true.
