Part of coaching in the NBA is understanding how to work with star players. It’s not just schemes; there’s talent management, knowing when to save and/or show face, and building a relationship with one of the great players of all time. Blatt couldn’t do those things; not with the Cavs at least. Perhaps he’ll do better

“coach who took his team to the finals”

I use Firefox on Android and this site doesn’t work very well at all. I don’t know why Gawker can’t keep its backend simple. Who does a constantly tweaked, constantly broken platform benefit?

Darko won a title with the Pistons. He was second overall in 2003.

I never minded the ads on my Kindle. Yeah, they’re there to sell me things, but it’s nice that they’re always changing. It adds variety to the device.

Ditto. Especially any of the Capcom SF/Marvel games.

The hard thing about nothing giving fucks is actually following through.

The reason iPod succeeded is because Apple created a version that worked on Windows. The initial iPod was Mac-only, and while it did okay, it needed the broader reach of Windows to really take off. (And then cannibalize that PC market.)

But like DID adoption, I think Sony deserves a lot of credit for Trojan Horsing a new media platform in people’s homes, the way PS2 was a lot of people’s first DVD player and how Blu-ray was standard in PS4. As an Xbox 360 add-on and

Amazingly, this was filmed in landscape orientation. Dreams do come true.

He’s grabbing at it like a toddler. That’s embarassing.

Being upset about “white” being noted is tedious and, frankly, late. Reporters have taken great pains to note who is black, Asian or whatever else for decades. White was always the assumed default. If we’re going to call out race, for whatever reason, whiteness needs to noted too.

Cool story.

Nice. You correctly identifies the commenter point. Glad you’re on the case.

For whatever reason, my Chromecast will work for a couple of days, but then put my network on the fritz. My Xbox One lets me stream YouTube from my laptop or phone to the system, plus does a lot of other great things.

Engineer a joke.
