Agreed - feels like the Jezebel of olden times, before they got way too snarky for snark’s sake.

How is Bill Cosby tweeting anything? Is this communication through his lawyer?
I understand the sentiment; however, doing the wrong thing for the right reasons is still wrong (or, the lesser of two evils is still evil).
Fucking Pete. Buttigieg.
At this point, they really shouldn’t have released the results until they had 100%.
Yeah exactly. There are a few very minor fronts in which I probably ideologically align with Bernie more than her, but hands down I think she’s going to make the most progress in that office.
Honestly, when so much of the immediate change will be dependent on executive action; I’m more confident in a law professor who specialized in consumer law making those changes in ways to protect them from the next Republican to take office.
Perhaps I’ve been too scarred by the false hope of the Obama years, when so much optimism and excitement and energy quickly curdled and went sour after candidate Obama became President Obama, and he abandoned the grassroots campaign that had powered his victory.
I re-signed up for Kinja to say, yes, this is entirely why I continue to read Jezebel. You have answered the question I find myself asking, every time I read Jezebel lately - why the fuck am I still reading this???
Yeah no way. That is, or is almost full retail, depending on the style. Good thinking about passing on those. Poshmark tends to be higher than eBay, and eBay is really great at protecting you as a buyer, just fyi, so I wouldn’t hesitate as long as the seller is in the US (or in the same country where you are).
I still think about that article from like 10 years ago that essentially stated women are “complicit” solely based on the color of hair on their head.
They are expensive, but that’s why places like eBay and poshmark are your friend! I’ve never paid full retail price for a pair of Frye boots. I just can’t do it!
Good luck!
Nordstroms. They started out as a shoe store, and they know their stuff. Also, find a good shoe repair shop. I have a hideous time finding shoes, so if I have a good pair I get any bits that wear out fixed.
I have had great luck with Clarks shoes and they will probably have end-of-season sales soon. https://www.clarksusa.com Clarks aren’t super expensive, have comfort options and a big range of sizes and the boots I bought 12 years ago for $100 are still in great shape. I also still have Munro boots from maybe 15 year…
If there is a Nordstroms available near you, start looking there. They have a items in a range of prices.

IDK if you have a similar store, but in Atlanta there's a chain called Abbadabbas that sells shoes that are comfortable/ergonomic and their stock seems to be all good quality. If you have a store like that you might find some good quality shoes that will last.
Pro tip:try shoes and boots on when your feet are hot. Like, go for a brisk walk or wander around the mall for an hour or two (if you can) before trying anything on...I’ve never bought a good shoe when trying on cold little feet.
From what I’ve heard, Washington has done away with their caucus this year, but I did it in 2016 for the first time and it was wild. Unlike any political experience I’ve ever had, not in a good way.
