Orlando Bloom was RIGHT THERE!
Agreed - she strikes me as being a wonderful combination of someone who has in-depth knowledge of law and policy, history and so forth at a near arcane level, but at the same time is capable of easily translating that into explanations that everyone can understand.
Agreed, she has everything I like about Bernie and HRC without their baggage.
Last primary cycle, I wasn’t super excited about either Hilary or Bernie, and wasn’t 100% sure on voting day who I’d cast my ballot for. This time, I was pretty sure I’d settled in Warren a month before the first debate, and my conviction keeps growing with her.
I was already on the Warren train but now I’m pushing my chips into the center of the table and saying I’m all in.
Great to see Elizabeth Warren getting props on TheRoot. I’ve been open about Warren being my candidate and rooting for her to win the nomination. She has been consistently on message and explicitly supported things of interest to black folk. I like Sanders too but his appearance on Fox rubbed me the wrong way. Here’s…
Warren is the only one in this whole group I like.
I said this elsewhere but the best part of Warren’s delivery was the way she changed her tone to a mocking one and made a subtle mocking face when she said “what we can’t do and shouldn’t fight for.” Just beautiful. It wasn’t so blatant as to be distasteful (people would give her shit for that) but it was just enough…
What’s in your wallet... everyone knows!
You have an incredibly simplistic, and naive understanding of how the human brain works. Educate yourself.
That being said, they still need to be held to account, to some extent
I mean, the current state of discourse is that Trump tells a big, dumb, stupid, potentially dangerously lie, the press reports it while doing the barest minimum to refute it (usually by calling it “misinformation” or “controversial” or “false” or a “mistruth”), the CNN has people debate whether or not the lying ass…
Better than the stuffed animal: Take off your left shoe and toss it back there.
I remember one morning with my youngest I was so damn tired. Just exhausted. He was about 6 months old. Maybe a little older? I was on autopilot and I was just driving to work. I was about a block away from the office and he made a cooing noise - a gurgle or something - after having been super quiet the whole way to…
I think that WaPo article should be required reading for everyone.
The dink gave Steve Bannon security clearance specifically to have him go into the National Security Council and ‘tell them to toe Trump’s line on everything’. They literally laughed in his face (documented in the minutes too!) and told him to sit down while the adults talked in so many words.
I used to feel this way about it too until someone turned me onto how much can be accomplished without money. Some of the free or nearly free stuff on my list includes learning a second language (Duolingo is free), get a degree (I’m so poor that junior college is currently totally free for me and I’ve gotten 3…
My wife wanted to visit the R&R Hall of Fame on our 25th Anniversary (as a bit of a musician myself, I though it would be kinda lame, but as recent empty nesters, I thought it could be fun). We made the plans, but she succumbed to the Big C two weeks prior, after only a one month fight. I may go there in memory of her…
