Really, I thought he was jerking off to her and that’s where the comment came from. Because that makes more sense than he unknowingly wrote to her three times in a row commenting on her beauty and then the cum remark.

Good point, it may be to Sansa’s advantage to hope that Dany loses to Cersei, especially politically.
I was actually BORED for the first 20 minutes. Checking my phone bored. I know they need to set up some narrative pieces, but there was no need for a lot of that business, including the weirdly disaffected funeral scene. Jon’s rallying speech did nothing for me at all.
They also ignored the fact that their army was tired and wounded. No one stuck up for Sansa correctly pointing this out. Guess warfaring ain’t what it used to be.
Book Dany was horribly annoying, petulant, and willfully ignorant too. So they got that right. I do think Emilia Clarke did a surprisingly good job at showing Dany’s rising, insane anger, and I only say this because I do not think Emilia Clarke is that great of an actor.
They ARE absolutely empty words, and as much as I like Harris, her social media is chocka block full of politi-speak like this. It’s a turnoff to me, as a voter (Pelosi’s social media is like this too, as if it’s all normal - they’re just outraged on a very normal level because everything is fine otherwise).
Hindsight glasses see clearly.
This is true because he had run before, and was largely seen as a showboating clown. Only this time his showboating clown car attracted Russia and the racist imagination of pissed off white people and viola!
This is my theory as well: the Dems look at 2015/2016 early Republican candidates, a large pool, and why not try the same strategy? Throw everyone at the wall and see who sticks.
The more I’m exposed to how easily and carelessly these folks lie, I’m more depressed about what I thought was a basic human trait of dignity and honor. I read a quote from Machiavelli’s The Prince yesterday that has been echoing with me:
Is that a polaroid picture?
Agreed.
Exactly. The older I get, the more I understand clearly how much men resent, fear, and outright hate women.
Yes, I could. Go read the article.
Same, when kids came along he decided that looked like fun and became one too.
There was either a Science Friday or Radiolab episode talking about that study you reference, which was done in the 80s I think? The study wasn’t about gender but it was a surprise finding, it was about corporate/salesroom culture and if I recall correctly, they tried to scuttle the findings because of the finding…
You’re condescending and not helpful. I don’t do the “scut” work (which is fucking condescending too, so ya know) and I know my own experience. I’m really don’t care how your non-experience but anecdotal expertise with the scores of awesome men in your orbit contributes in any meaningful way to this conversation. Go…
I agree. Without question my children limit me on what choices I can make, and I don’t regret that at all, but I do question who I am really working for. I love huge parts of my career, but when I deal with administration and male colleagues, it almost always ends up with me shouldering more work with less reward. I’m…
I wasn’t talking just about my ex, and I’ll straight up say I really don’t know what the hell you are saying here, honestly. This is the attitude I get from my male colleagues and new male supervisor, none of whom can do what I do and get pissed (observably and for years now) that they can’t and WON’T. They would much…
Amen, sis. I’m tired of fluffing egos for no good reason. No one fluffs mine.
