Steam Deck has battery constraints and heat constraints. There's a reason they targeted 720p and 1.6 tflops.

I hope Valve steps in to make a Steam Deck-like console so there can continue to be more options and strong competition in the market.

Whales gotta burn money somehow!

That’s probably why they need 500 new ones, so they can find the handful that will last more than 6 months.

That’s what makes me want to avoid them. I like games, plural. I want to have room in my life for many games, and also for them to have a conclusion so I can move on to more.

I found this to be the case as well. You can also notice doors will be push to open one way, with a number on the door. Coming at them from the other direction, the doors are pull to open and you don’t see the number from that side. This is another helpful clue.

I would agree that bullies are often not clever but their comments can still be hurtful and lasting.

That's a headline I never thought I would see. I'm happy to see both Hey Arnold and Patrick Stewart again though!

That doesn't sound like enough units

Does this mean VR isn’t allowed to get any new games?

There are about 34M VR headsets out there and the market is projected to increase so I guess this company thought it made sense to make this type of game.

So you think the third parties won’t pull their games from the first party store, and will still put upcoming games on the first party store?

It seems like that’s what it means.

Alternate apps will need to pass Apple’s approval process, and will have to give a cut of sales to Apple. That’s not sideloading.

It worked for F-Zero 99 and Mario 35 so maybe they thought they would try it?

Boo-urns

That sounds like it could become a game mechanic. Maybe a minigame in the next Halo title.

Now playing

I don’t think this is new, it’s been known that there were variations based on what buttons you would push on startup. I’ve done it before myself. Plus it’s in this 14 year old video:

It’s disappointing because digital is inconvenient for me and my family. If I purchased it on my account, then it can only be played by me on the non-”home” account consoles and by nobody else in the family. They wouldn’t be able to play it in their room on their display without having to physically move the console

He doesn’t have to be absent, but he doesn’t have to be a main focus either.
