Sounds like it was originally planned as DLC and then pushed out as $70 stand-alone. It even has the same multiplayer maps supposedly. It’s a terrible way to service their base and shows management only cares about cranking them out and collecting a check.

It’s not just me you disagree with:

Steam already has a huge library, they have figured out compatibility with a large amount of games such that Steam Deck satisfies expectations and did not flop because of compatibility issues.

It's really dumb. At that price you should be buying a toy that comes with a code for the skin of the toy.

Valve gets HDR in PC gaming right first try. Desktop PCs still a PITA.

In my life, I only have room for like one live service game. How do they expect 12 to succeed? I want to be able to play other games too, and I appreciate self-contained experiences that have a conclusion. I guess they must be different genres to get their own niche followings?

SD cards are cheap and while on paper the speed specs are different, there is barely any performance difference in practice.

Why link to Twitter instead of IMDB profiles or something?

One thing that made Shepherd cool was it was kind of your own character’s origin story.

I hope the developer can fully heal. I respect the decision.

Amen. It’s hard because MC also has a “where’s poochie” problem. Maybe it was built-in because they made him magical and unequalled from the start.

I’m not sure if it would be great for ME to turn Shepherd in some kind of larger than life Master Chief figure that gets out of hand and ridiculous.

They need to add better controller support, community mod support, and I would appreciate Linux support.

I wish Virtual Console was still a thing, it is much more convenient and comprehensive than the subscription service we have now.

This may backfire and contribute to the Streisand effect

Sounds about right... 😬

Did they even test this game?

Marathon being delayed probably shows more that they’re concerned an extaction shooter that requires teams of multiple people to align their schedules and cooperate to grind on another battle pass won’t perform well in the mainstream.

I check in there once in a while but I'm seeing used games twice the price of the new game for some old titles.

Im always thankful for more Bloodborne content! It’s clear there is a lot of love for this series.
