It’s called “other”-ing people. It’s dehumanizing others and has the effect of desensitizing yourself to empathy.

Some do prefer it for some reason but the best position for the stick on one side is also the best on the other. Our hands are symmetrical and work the same on both sides. The optimal position with the most range and articulation is the same on both sides.
I mean it plays a lot of systems including PlayStation Plus and Remote Play games too so the systems it can play isn’t the issue, the problem is it's an unfortunate setup in general
And misaligned analog sticks too if anyone wasn’t already turned off 😒
It’s nice to get these, but it is not the case broadly as you point out.
It's not really worth it. Developers target the most widely available hardware. Nothing is going to take advantage of new tech until it ends up in consoles. The target platforms will be PS5/Series and everything else will be a variation on that. Mostly just resolution/frame rate. No developer is going to spend time…
With all this leaking, I wish someone would leak info about a Bloodborne Bluepoint remake and sequel.
Maybe it's just me, but if there wasn’t one, I wouldn’t buy it.
Yes! Earlier this year.
Elden Ring and Souls on a portable device is why I got the Steam Deck in the first place. Totally worth it. I’m very happy with the game support they have! Great news for Linux gamers too!
I thought it would be more powerful than that? The Steam Deck can emulate PS3 games...
It’s weird to hear MS say they’re OK with selling the Series X for $350 USD in Japan. I guess they need to make themselves as attractive as possible outside the US, so they need every advantage they can get.
Makes sense, and I expected this. The first one requires the PS4 camera for tracking the DualShock 4, and this won’t work on the DualSense because it’s missing the light bar. Think of the way Astro Bot uses it. I believe PSVR2 won’t be able to do similar things with the DualSense.
Unfortunatley these all feature misaligned analog sticks. For PC I would go with an SN30 Pro+, and for Xbox I would look into something from Cronus that lets you use alternative controllers.
Those are some serious bangers!
It’s pure nostalgia. So much of the mechanics have been improved since those days. It feels ancient to go back to GoldenEye. Not being able to walk off a ledge, dying from explosions that go through the wall. New people will be confused when they play this game and it will be a big reality check for OG fans.
Reading that makes me want to barf
I was hoping for something more like Sega's Illusion series from the name
Seems dumb to worry about it. Probably some PS gamers care about CoD but if CoD departs non-MS platforms that will leave more room for 3rd parties, and Sony can always make their own FPSes if they care that much.
I love FFXIII, the battle system is so good. I’m sad we probably won’t see it done that way again. I also like the diary that keeps track of events and offers more detail. I wish every other RPG had this.
