Wasn't the original MGS port very badly done?

That's interesting, you could probably do a lot more using the accessibility controller though
They’re blocking a mobile app, and MS wants to get on mobile. Best way is the browser, but for some reason they’re not doing it. They even have their own mobile browser! They could do this so easily, but they let Amazon get there first, and Amazon are looking for ways to promote their cloud tech over MS’s.
Makes me keep wondering why MS doesn’t try to support xCloud through the browser. I’ve been saying they should do it that way. It makes no sense that they want to limit themselves.
Yeah this story needs a slower pace than what is possible when condensed into a movie. You need time to get to know the characters, the locations, and ponder the implications of certain events and decisions and what's at stake. It isn't just some action flick.
Yeah I was surprised too, Microsoft saying they didn’t want to lose money on console hardware but then developing a service that doesn’t make profits for years.
“As of now, there is no upgrade path to get the graphically upgraded Spider-Man Remastered on PlayStation 5 for players who already own the original Spider-Man on PlayStation 4"
We’re raising people to be divisive right from their infancy. Don’t teach your kids to respect others, that implies they inherently don’t respect others and teaches them that the very concept of division exists. Same with racism.
They’ve done the math and Aaron Greenberg said that it isn’t a profit play, it’s to onboard people in the short term. Game Pass doesn’t work like that, you don’t buy the games you can download whatever you want with no cost barrier, so it doesn’t go by attach rate, it goes by what people download and play. In what…
If it makes sense for the developers. We’ll have to see if profitability for game pass translates into sustainability for developers.
...proportionally increasing the amount of gamers that will download these games rather than buying them, for less money per game.
Do they expect to support future development with just Game Pass subscriptions though? Xbox will be a loss leader if they actually go through with it.
Sounds like MS is testing out the idea of going third party and platform agnostic.
Here’s the article:
Only if a game is updated. This isn't automatic and requires per-game patches.
And nothing of value was lost
Couch, it’s impossible for anyone to sit next to you at a desk. Well, I’ve done it, but it isn’t comfortable for long periods and it isn’t optimal. I also don’t want the desk in front of me, or want to take up space with a dedicated computer setup. My PC is connected to my TV and I rarely break out the monitor for any…
Well yes, it saves taxpayers from shouldering the burden of his incarceration, and saved those around him from his further influence.
Sure but when the PS4 and One came out a lot of the games were available on previous generations too because nobody wants to miss out on the existing installed base. People will want the new consoles to play these games in the most optimal way.
I love these kinds of projects that push the hardware!
