All the DLC/microtransaction eggs are being left out. None of that is included in Game Pass so they still have plenty of ways to get money from users. Halo Infinite's multiplayer will be F2P so probably a lot of service games in MS's future.

I got my One because I thought I would get into Forza but it didn’t end up happening. I liked Horizon 2 an OK amount but somehow they lost me with 3 and 4. I bought both for $20 but they mostly sat on the shelf. I even lent my console to my bro who’s more into driving games than me but it just didn’t click.

If they read Apple’s dev tools license it probably includes language about using the tools to develop software that willingly breaks Apple’s policies.

I wonder how this will compete with X-Plane which has had years of work done on the physics, already has a ton of community support, and mods for specific hobbyist peripherals and control mechanisms.
