I thought the design of DK and Diddy’s faces looked weird. I can see how they evolved the design from the 2D art but it was constrained by 3D modeling back then and they haven’t made them look any better over time.

Oh well, I never really took awards shows seriously anyway. You can only take other peoples’ word for stuff so far. It’s kinda going too far to bill something as the definitive “video game awards”. In the end it’s just a few peoples’ idea of what’s cool.
