That’s what I hoped for, but I just felt like she was working WAY too hard for the *young*, sexy ingenue (teetering in shoes that would make her feet at this age horribly painful) thing, and missed all the real confidence of an OLDER, beautiful but powerful woman.

I haven’t been ready to post about it on social media, because there are so many conflicting feelings and I am just not ready to answer for all of them. And people who haven’t been caregivers or had to make hard decisions for loved ones truly don’t…

That scene is hilarious *and* had the bonus effect of helping me feel a lot better about what I thought of as my “picky” way of ordering my food.

So, my sweet, sweet papa was diagnosed with a (non-Alzheimer’s) form of dementia a couple of years ago.

He’s been declining steadily since then, losing first more obvious skills like driving, through mid-level skills like understanding time and dates and applying that knowledge to the present situation, to forgetting…
