WELL-DONE. As a consoloation prize, you win the internet.

Both great stories. Adnan’s a weirdo.

My godson grew up on Maui and went to school with his kids and has been to their house for a birthday party. His mama says they are very sweet and down-to-earth humans.

LOVE all this and the way you told it.

I can’t say I don’t understand. Fingers crossed that you didn’t inherit bunions! <3

I swear I WANT you guys to be the ones who are the first freaks of nature to not have this long-term, and yet completely avoidable suffering! I do!

I looooooove the way high heels look. So much. I used to own SO MANY.

They’re just...the prettiest.

I agree with Ari that the best possible scenario is spending money on

I think maybe one has to be older than 35 to experience this, but I don’t think the reason women don’t want to repeat fashion isn’t because of the fact that they wore it before; that’s just shorthand for “I like to think my tastes have become more sophisticated since I was 17-21" and/or “as I am 20 years older, I am

That experience is a universal, anatomical, physical truth.

Everyone reading this who wears heels higher than an inch and a half *now* should heed your words and stop or severely limit wearing them BEFORE they ruin their feet and have no choice.

From what I have read, most documentaries don’t have enough budget to pay their subjects, and it’s pretty taboo for them to admit to doing so, as it obviously compromises the integrity of the filmmakers in the public’s eyes.

With McKinnon producing, budget probably won’t be an issue, but it’s hard to imagine her

Ugh. Yeah. It’s hard to keep subscriptions to a reasonable number.

We have Hulu for Bob’s Burgers, Handmaid’s Tale and a couple of other shows.

This will DEFINITELY be worth a Hulu trial, even if it sucks. She’s just so fun to watch.

Not arguing that there’s no sexism, and maybe it’s just my fangirl speaking, but I feel like she’s a pretty big star, at least in terms of name recognition.

Her IMDB filmography goes back to 2008, and she joined SNL in 2012, got repertory status there in 2013, and was nominated for her first Emmy the following year,

SO MUCH THIS.

We haven’t really seen McKinnon *try* to be understated, have we? She’s clearly brilliant, so I don’t see why she couldn’t pull this off without exaggeration.

Damn, I love her; I’ll watch it even if it gets horrible reviews.

That’s been bugging me, too. On a search this morning, Mossimo’s name was mentioned right alongside loughlin’s by CBS, Fox, and CNBC, so perhaps that is changing with these increased charges.

At least, in Macy’s case, there is a plausible explanation out there:

“Emails and recorded conversations cited in the

You could see that outfit walking down any street in the Bay Area (in which the BA is San Francisco and the East Bay; not, say, Walnut Creek) on a Tuesday. There’s a high concentration of Burners here and costumes for daily wear are kind of run-of-the-mill occurrences here.

I’m pretty sure they won’t need to get new IDs or even go to the DMV ; those affected (those who provided only one form of proof of residence) just need to provide their second form; they can do that online or by mail, according to the article you linked.

“The DMV plans to send a letter to everyone affected by June

Sadly, nope.

Was gonna write all this out but found this on Quora, which is everything I would’ve said, except I would add that, a. in all 50 states, parents who do not pay child support can have their licenses suspended or revoked, and this is one way to “keep tabs” on where they are and, b. the DMV is the main method for

From what I can tell (though it’s possible it varies by state), you can do things like registrations, plus changes of address for your license, through AAA, but only DMV can do licenses or Real IDs.

Huh?

Yup. The only way to even halfway count on not spend an entire day there without an appointment is going and getting in line OUTSIDE the DMV (with 150 other people) before it opens.
