Duh.

Yep. Sometimes people want to drink, dance, and be merry at weddings without worrying about keeping track of tots or saying/doing the wrong thing in front of children.
Love it! I’m ready for something fun. Would love to see the wearable versions of these.
California. And other places, as mentioned.
I forgot Christopher Columbus was a protected class.
Also white illegal immigrants. From Ireland and the like. Never hear about them (not that I want to in this way).
Add to #2 people not getting that unstructured mill about time is work time.
This is insane and also just another messed up chapter in US/Mexican immigration relations. The US loves to lure immigrants in, use them up, then spit them out when it suits them politically. The US also has a habit of deporting (documented) US citizens of Mexican/Latino heritage in these big round ups, but their base…
“I’m deeply sorry for my actions and have entered therapy to better myself.”

Honestly I think the biggest issue in all this is that the people whose culture is being appropriated are otherwise treated poorly by the people doing the appropriating (and US society writ large). It’s all about “you care for my appearance but you don’t care for me”.
It’s the country’s ethos.
If i’m not mistaken, Houston has a large population of refugees from around the world. Poor and recently traumatized and now this.
Lol so God cared about a book more than a person? How inspiring.
There’s a big women’s/anti-Trump rally planned for Saturday (in LA at least). I have a feeling this is meant to undercut that somehow.
PBS Newshour doesn’t do exactly this, but it’s closer than other programs. And they always report on other non-Trump things as well.
