No, that is a very wrong answer. “A Knight’s Tale” is one of the top 20 best movies ever made. I mean, Bowie!! What more can you ask for?

Modern dress “updates” of classics was nothing new. The deliberate anachronism of A Knight’s Tale with people in period dress rocking out to Queen in a way that made perfect sense if you thought about it absolutely was new and different, and critics had no idea what to do with it.
