...Is it bad that this seems pretty reasonable to me? I mean, refusal to use any capital letters aside. The original rider seemed pretty standard, and definitely not worthy of as much as has been written about it, and I'm sure it's got to be annoying to still be talking about it to anyone that interviews him. Plus, he

Internet high fives! I'm spending it alone, too. Well, me and John McLane (I'm having a Die Hard marathon, like I do every year). Hope you got some delicious food and/or chocolate to celebrate!

I loathe scary movies (and this looks ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING), but I'll still be seeing this opening day. That cast is just too good!

Now playing

Galentine's Day was in Parks and Rec. It's wonderful and it should be a national holiday.

Here's the reply from Jack White's management:

My choices: Roman Holiday-era Gregory Peck, How to Steal a Million-era Peter O'Toole, young Hemingway (I hate him so much, but he was so hot), and young Stalin, pre-evil.

Those floozy men with their bowties and their suits, trying to lead all the ladies into sin.

Absolutely, ABSOLUTELY David Oyelowo for Selma. He was phenomenal. Other less obvious ones could be Gugu Mbatha-Raw for either Belle or Beyond the Lights. Hell, even Gael Garcia Bernal in Rosewater or Oscar Isaac in A Most Violent Year. I'm sure there are more, but those are the first that come to mind.

Thank you!!! The entire point of 500 Days of Summer is that the whole MPDG idea is reductive. To quote the original article that coined the term, "The Manic Pixie Dream Girl exists solely in the fevered imaginations of sensitive writer-directors to teach broodingly soulful young men to embrace life and its infinite

GINA RODRIGUEZ WON!!!!!!! Everything is beautiful!

Pretty sure there's a Twilight Zone episode like that, with super hot young Robert Redford.

I just finished my last final, and this was the absolute perfect thing to make me feel better about this shitty semester. You're a hero.

Belle was absolutely my favorite movie of the year (even more than Grand Budapest Hotel, which is a really big deal for me), and I hate that it'll be snubbed by the awards shows. Hopefully it'll at least scoop up best costumes.

Yeah, that was a bad choice for the picture, there are so many better ones. Like this:

Yes! The Piemaker is still probably my ideal man, and Lee Pace is wonderful in everything.

Also, I just noticed that Pride got nominated for Best Comedy, and that makes me incredibly happy about life (as do the nominations for Grand Budapest Hotel, my choice for best movie of the year).

Jane the Virgin!!! I'm so happy it (and Gina Rodriguez) was nominated. I watch a lot of TV (A LOT) and I love a lot of shows, but I haven't been as in love with any show this much since Pushing Daisies. It's absolutely wonderful and charming, and you really need to be watching it.

James Franco always makes for a surprisingly good SNL. Some of my very favorite SNL sketches ever:

I don't think season 3 is out yet, I think they just announced that it's going to happen. I need it right now!
