If I was on the jury and saw the police video, I’m not exonerating Lewandowski. He reached out and forcibly grabbed and pushed her away. She’s just walking and talking to Trump. It doesn’t appear that she’s threatening Trump so there was no reason for Lewandowski to place his hands on her.

I mean he has demonized all of the media (the same media that allows him to get TV time free of charge) so he can just say the media finally got what they deserved. Even if that media is in the bag for Trump.

Now that this creep is charged, how is Breitbart going to spin this?

As glad as I am that Lewandowski is getting charged, the continued inability of Trump’s followers to admit that a member of his cult of personality did wrong is just disheartening.

That isn’t feasible. It is outrageously unlikely that we will never need it again. But in the event of global warfare, we must have a means of drafting our able-bodied to fight. I say this as the daughter of a conscientious objector who fought in court for his right not to go to war (he was the son of pastor, the

I can’t wrap my mind around this! How does a self-proclaimed “evangelical leader” endorse a three-times-married bully that has not set foot in church except for his five (?) children’s baptisms? A man that doesn’t even know how to correctly discuss books of the New Testament? How are they buying his “I’m so religious”

I used to watch a lot of “Girls Next Door” (don’t judge me) and even then a lot of the house looked like it hadn’t been remodeled since the 70s or 80s and just looked bad. The main dining/ entry areas where guests would be looked kept up okay, but all the private areas like bedrooms, bathrooms, offices just looked

It looks pretty shabby and run-down on the inside. My source is myself from 8 years ago, shame-watching Girls Next Door.

“As the Dispatch notes, only a third of American women are employed by companies that offer any maternity leave, leaving the majority of women uncovered by the current Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).”

Or maybe read what you want, write what you want and everyone relax.

Seems more like someone is seeing their post as an effort to score enlightenment points when someone else might not see it that way. Or how about writing a blog about not writing a blog about not reading books by white men. How meta is that!?

read whatever you want man

There’s a world of difference between reading a good book by an author who happens to be a woman of color, telling people about that book and recommending it to others; and publicly proclaiming your intention to avoid books by straight white men to score enlightenment points.

Talk about the books those women wrote. What you enjoyed about them. What you disliked about them. Recommend their books to other people. Start book clubs that feature them.

I know! I always rub some sunscreen in my part if I’m outdoors for too long.

As an uninsured person I was able to get generic Ortho Tri Cyclen (very commonly used) for $9 a month, $8 a month if I got 3 months worth at a time. My new prescription runs about $30 a month. Now, the pills that are not on a 28 day cycle, even generic, run about $225.

People who are uninsured can look into prescription discount cards to cut costs for stuff like this. I have one and for the generic form of what I take the lowest cost for a month’s supply is $9. The highest is $28. (It’s dependent on which pharmacy I use). So there are definitely options to save money.

Completely agree. I’ve been on the pill for 10 years, but no doctor has ever done bloodwork or seen me outside the yearly prescription renewal appointment. And for all of them, the only thing determining what pill I got was what was cheapest (in college, the health center had a deal with one brand, Planned Parenthood

They determine the type of pill the same way doctors do - they guess. They pick a pill that is popular and/or they consider the androgenic index of the pill in question.

Good point. I’m in my early 40s and have been on Depo since I was 21 so I completely have no idea what the process is. But, you’re right, it’s not like they are doing blood work ups or anything. Usually only digging in after the fact like in my case.
