As a libertarian, I feel your pain. Every election ends in disappointment. Every cycle brings third parties more exposure. I’d hoped this will be the year but there’s always 2018 and 2020.

However, national defense is one of the items Congress is charged with handling. Planned Parenthood is not. That said, I’m not against cutting defense funding. I’d like to cut a lot of items from the federal budget.

The only sexism I’ve experienced was in academia where I was expected to become Mrs before becoming Dr and then stay home with the kids. Great if you want to do that, but I don’t. I left the ivory tower ABD and haven’t had issues since. I don’t regret the lack of PhD either.
