I don’t think I’ll ever get the hate TLJ still gets, I thought it was among many things, the best produced, directed and well acted movie of ANY Star Wars movie. But it was also arguably one of the deepest in terms of message and story, and I get that people mostly seem frustrated that it didn’t continue some of the

This is part of a problem that Marvel created for themselves. Rather than wondering if the movie will be good, people are caught up in trying to determine where it exists in the continuity and overall arc. Nothing exists as its own entity anymore.

Not to mention that, by kneeling, officially you’re “giving yourself up” and thus losing 2 yards anyway unless you dive forward. So this 41 yarder was going to be a 39 yarder and could have been even closer.

It plays every time you scroll by, even if you’ve already stopped it X number of times! It is insane

Actually, when paired with Drew’s post yesterday, you get some solid insight into how the “machine” that is the NFL just degrades the human qualities of their product over time.

I’ve been reading Drew’s stuff for a decade and a half and “they’re a big hole filled with shit” might be the best insult I’ve had the pleasure of reading.

I watched the first 5 seasons, started to watch season 6 and just couldn’t do it. Season 4 was obviously the low point of the first 5 seasons, but seasons 3-5 all started to get very repetitive with filler and when season 6 went back to the well as it related to Oliver’s development and behavior I just couldn’t. Glad

I think you’re right, mostly because who else could it be and Morgan only really racked up her goals against Thailand.

It is undoubtedly a real dumb controversy. In fact you could argue it will (maybe already has started) to backfire. It takes a real issue that women dealt with (and still deal with to this day) and then chosen not to believe that it happened because easily explained inconsistencies. Way to fire up female voters by

I mean, Trump hasn’t truly been challenged in a meaningful way his whole life until he ran for and became President. Of course he caves, all he wants is people to like him. That’s why he ramps up his attacks on Democrats because they are faceless to him, but the screaming fans that love every minute of it are not.

This whole thing is so breathtakingly stupid. Biden did get that prosecutor fired, but that was the position of the US government (hence Republican support, too) in 2014 because that prosecutor WAS corrupt. Doing so actually put Biden’s son at greater risk though, not less risk.

Exactly, not to mention all the additional egregious stuff he’s done just these past two weeks. We can argue about all the stuff before this story broke, but what can’t be really argued is that his behavior the last two weeks is very clearly in violation of the Constitution and a danger to US Citizens and

Much like the “no collusion” thing, Trump latches onto these words or phrases and beats them to death to ensure his followers have deniability unless Trump literally says those words.

So like...I get that Wohl is a moron, but who exactly is this even for? Like 70 year old Elizabeth Warren paid for and received consensual sex from a bodybuilding 25 year old former Marine. Did I miss the kicker here as to the problem with that if it was even true?

It’s no different than what is happening to the country at large. Focus people on small grievances that have an almost material negligible impact on your day to day life, but that you’re passionate about, while crumbling the very bedrock of society under yours or others feet. I mean you have current politicians now

Wait, so Darren Rovell is arguing against what would be essentially unregulated capitalism? It’s because the benefactors would be young and primarily non-white I imagine, because this seems like the sort of behavior he’d normally bust his nut for.

Totally normal behavior from an innocent man.

Honestly this ought to quash the idea that Donald Trump is playing any form of chess. The general goal of rooting out corruption and further investigating US Election interference is on its own a commendable approach. They could have done this in an official capacity and be lauded for it by pretty much all sides! And

And let’s remember, and it’s important here, no one leaked anything. This was a legal and formal internal escalation of a whistleblower following the proper procedure that blew up because they stone walled the Intelligence Committee.

I think what I find to be most interesting is, naturally the logical conclusion of never holding the President to task would be his continued escalation of abuse of powers...BUT also that the as to now lack of need to have shown any reasonable competence in defending themselves, they were also likely to escalate to
