My guess is they do neither, but I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if they opened servers for BC and Wrath especially over the next 5 years simply due to the popularity of those expansions.

The private server community complained for years and eventually got what they wanted, but now it’s not exactly the exact specifics they wanted so of course there was going to be more complaints.
Exactly. Brown leaving Pittsburgh made quite a bit of sense. He had been almost comically underpaid, had been there 9 years, had serious tension with the upcoming wide receiver, had a deteriorating relationship with the quarterback, etc. His value to the team, even great as it is, was likely on the down slope and just…
It’s such a sad story all around. It’s worth remembering that he was historically underpaid even relative to the fact most NFL players are (compared to say a free and open market). Pittsburgh took the offer they had made to Mike Wallace and basically gave it to Brown when Wallace turned them down to become a free…
Mike Tomlin catches a lot of well deserved flack for his lack of tactical acumen and in game adjustments. That said, he actually seems to get good production out of some less than stable players, which has been true for most of his tenure in Pittsburgh.
I think I’d concede that there is at least an argument here. That said, there are botched robberies all the time. To say such a thing wouldn’t occur because the assailant wouldn’t feel threatened if the victim pulled a gun and respond in force, is unlikely.
There is an escalation issue here, too. The story he references is all well and good, but it’s just as likely that having a gun on you may get you shot during a robbery in which you normally would not have.
This a million times. I am late to this post but what always struck me about WoW (I was a day one player myself) was the combination of several interwoven experiences. It not only did so many things better than any other MMO, but it struck that balance where the experience was so new and fresh and expansive. Those…
Not sure I believe Penn State would go about circumventing process to cover up egregious risks and damage to young people.
I continue to be amazed every day with just how stupid the President of the United States is. And not like your garden variety below average intelligence. He’s a straight moron on pretty much every level.
What sticks out to me, in particular, is this is pretty common across the country. This is what we teach in school.
In 20 years when those dumb memes pop up about how could Fascism come to prominence in America, remember it was because we attacked those that opposed it.
Right? Like the argument very literally relies on acknowledging that anyone that would oppose those signs aggressively enough to create a violent confrontation wouldn’t be a huge racist asshole and somehow the protester should consider that, first.
This argument gets employed far too often;
I was going to say...all the stuff Samer listed makes him seem extensively over qualified for office, especially in Arizona.
No, it’s not hard to imagine. But like all conspiracies, it ignores practicality in all areas except where you want it to explain what happened.
I mean, I suppose Occam’s applies too, I was just referring to all the conspiracy theories. So Hanlon’s is “never attribute to malice which is adequently explained by stupidity” which applies to those conspiracies.
Hanlon’s Razor, really. If there was anything at all here, it was probably Epstein himself offering to pay someone to stop monitoring him for a few hours or to delay the cellmate replacement.
There are a number of frustrating things about this whole situation we find ourselves in, but towards the top of that list is how effectively we’ve allowed a group like the NRA to define the terms of this discussion.
Again the inability to call this what it is (domestic terrorism as well detailed and explained by Malcolm Nance on Twitter today, and obvious with any thought towards it) seems to reflect the issue people have with being branded racist or supporting terrorism than the action of actually doing so.
