I know this is being a bit dickish, but if I’m invited to a wedding of any decent size, I expect an open bar for at least 1 hour (the cocktail hour). It’s understandable if you’re having it at home or a friends place that isn’t being rented that you might do a BYOB, but if you’re renting out a place and catering

I’m fortunate enough to have gone to a number of events (parties, fundraisers, work parties) where open bars are pretty common (I’m in Tampa).

Usually if the ticket is more than $60, it’s an open bar with a decent selection (red/white wine, one or two whiskeys, a rum, gin, usually a few vodkas and mixers).

Hell, I

I’m either a tip at beginning, or tip along the way when it comes to an open bar.

My local watering hole does a $12 open bar every Thursday night, so I’ll usually just hand one of the bartenders (whom I all know from years of patronage) a solid $20 and then just go from there. Gets a bit hoary if you have to switch

The 370z was announced in 2006, but wasn’t on sale until 2009, but I agree that the introduction for sale of the 370z was probably the starting point of the slide into poor design, confused market placement, and complacency at Nissan. I also think that Nissan wasn’t expecting the Camaro SS to come along with almost 100

Understandable. Those F10s did have a surge of power that was surprising if you weren’t ready for it, and lord knows the brakes could be grabby as all hell.

An incredibly thrilling car, but very different (in my exes’ case) from his previous 2006 S600 (which had similar torque, less HP, but a twin-turbo V12 that was

On your first point, you have to look at the fact that for two of those, the Republicans were coming off of 8 years of a Democrat president. That makes it rather easy (in historical terms) for much of the field to paint themselves as the much-needed alternative. Notice that you didn’t mention any of the interim years

The new Z4 is also a soft top. Last gen had a hard top.

I have heard about this over the years. I just wonder if Blizz really wants to add both another class that requires balancing in its own right, and also another set of weapons that are only used by one class?

I mean, it makes sense if you assume that having War Mode on is canon. Otherwise, you’re right: why would the Horde — who were at war with — allow us entry into somewhere like King’s Rest, in a region they control nonetheless unless we literally slaughtered them and just barged our way in. But once we’re inside,

I know why it exists (just as the Z3 and the last two Z4s), I just don’t get the top-end model being priced this high. If this was the official Z4M, I’d get it, but this is functionally just a higher trim level from the base model Z30i.

I think I’m at that point too.

I was all invested, and having played Legion more than any other expansions save for WoTLK, I was looking forward to the story aspects of BFA. Unfortunately, I just don’t think they got things in the position they really needed to be.

Having the staggered story release hurts something like

I mean, they would be cool, but I just don’t know what role they’d fill now that we have Demon Hunters.

I suppose they could be a mail-armor melee class, but they use glaives like Demon Hunters, and they also control certain magics. I think they, outside of their history and story relevance, have too much of what would

I’m talking about the non-convertible M4, which starts at $69k.

Why are you getting so wound up about a movie? You’re literally the type of person I made clear in a prior response who takes this shit too seriously. Cursing and all of that. As you said, it’s my opinion, and I’m well within my ability to voice my opinion on the movie.

At no point did I say I was the end-all, be-all

The base model M4 is $69k. A person who is serious about buying this model Z4 new at $65k isn’t gonna scoff at paying $4k more for a more substantial car in the M4. That’s the fundamental problem with this model of the Z4.

Also, a 1/2 year old CPO M4 Convertible will likely be at a similar price, and if a person

Thanks. I’m a huge SL fan (and GT cars in general, since I’m a tall guy), so I gotta chime in when my favorite gets mentioned (although I feel like, if money was no object, I’d get either a S-Class coupe or AMG GT rather than a new SL63, for a number of reasons).

The difference is that people know the Z4 name and have certain expectations (people who aren’t Jalops like us).

The SLC, for most people, is a completely different car than the SLK it replaced, like many people don’t know that the S-Class coupe is the replacement for the CL.

The TT-RS is tuned for a far more sportier

I haven’t ridden in a new M5, but my ex had a 2014 M5 for a time, and in my rides as both passenger and driver, the suspension certainly wasn’t “back-breaking”. Then again, I used to drive a lightly modified G35 coupe, so my tolerance for certain foibles might be a bit different.

Exactly.

At this price point, one of two things is gonna happen to this model.

1. People who want more sport are gonna go with a Porsche, a Mustang or Camaro with some customization, or they’ll pay a few grand more and get an M3 (which is more practical) or an M4 (which is sportier).

2. If they want more luxury, they’re

We don’t know if this is fully loaded, and considering the M4 is only $4k more than this Z4, if someone wanted a sporty car, I’d imagine they’d get that (and if they desperately want a convertible, they’d get a Boxster S, or hell, stretch a little and get an M4 convertible).
