Gave the game several hours but its mostly filler. You fight so many trainers, ahem Tamers, on every corner and you can’t skip them. So what would be a much faster experience just drags along due to the fights. Not to mention that these NPCs love to tell you a story before you actually fight them.

The “main” areas are likely to be instanced for several reasons, namely protecting them from being directly nuked and allowing for Time Lord tricks and having the insides bigger than the outsides to squeeze more into each location. I’m pretty sure these hubs are going to be entirely instanced. It’s hard to do romances, dialogue trees, choice & consequences, etc, in a persistent multiplayer world.
