You almost never need to stop so quick on a road bike lol, on a Mtn.bike, absolutely.

They add a lot of weight, that's why they don't use them on road bikes, plus you really don't need a lot of stopping power, you rarely brake on a road course.

Whoever buys this deserves a malfunctioning prostate for being so stupid. The top of the line Cannondale, Trek, Campagnolo, Look, Felt, Specialized etc etc are better and cheaper.
