I would say it is an improvement. I’m not so much of a purist that I don’t mind it being there as long as I can turn it off when I need to.
I’ll never understand the TPMS hate especially in a car that is driven occasionally. One less step to go out for a drive, the car will tell you you have a low tire, no need to check all four tires, yes it is lazy, but come one does anyone really enjoy checking their tires?
