Haha! You would not get along with my boyfriend. I get what you mean, but there is a reason for it. Different weed does different things. Some strains are more useful than others for pain relief, anxiety, etc.

Friend’s little bro is the same re the TV voices and a lot of paranoia. Some violence in his teens but they had the means to get a diagnosis and treatment early. He’s finished school and studying from home, is a much happier young man. Much can be done.

Do the little marks around children (‘children’) make them not children? No matter how heinous their crime, they aren’t adults and should not be tried as adults. I’m not sure what the solution is, but that ain’t it.

Sure you can. That’s literally the whole point of rehabilitation.

If this happened to my child I would be devastated. I would also realize that a horrible thing happened by someone who was not mentally capable of understanding the damage they’d done. You seem to forget that 13 year old children do not have a developed prefrontal cortex, which helps to deal with aggression, planning, and abstract judgement, among other things. This is just one reason why this is complete bullshit.

This is not okay. It illustrates just how little our judicial system gives a fuck about rehabilitation when they are willing to do this to fucking children.
