Doesn’t make it right.

Body hair is a natural filter to keep all the ickiness from the outside world off my body.

You cared enough to reply.

So weird. My experience is the same as yours. Fortunately I have blond body hair and live in Portland Oregon, so it’s not that big of a deal to have armpit hair.

Actually, I have the same experience as WhoamI. I shave my pits about every other month or so, and definitely notice an uptick in sweat and odor.

My 20 year old crush has been waning for a couple years now. I think he’s one of those guys that gets more conservative (and assholish) as they get older.

Me too!

Jeez! Were you scarred for life? I think I’d have a hard time sleeping away ever again after that.

4-H is totally rural! In fact when I mentioned it I even thought about the fact that not everyone (urban folks) might have access.

I fucking loved 4-H camp! So many great memories (and my first french kiss).

Another poor 4-H camper here!

That carpet and drapes comment! ARGH - the worst!

Thank you, very well stated.

Don’t even get me started on the raggedy-ann references! My life.

My eyebrows are blond (invisible). I just learned how to draw them on recently.

I wish more people felt like you.

You’re not weird.

I agree that the discrimination is not on the level of that of POC, but redheads are definitely on the very low end of acceptance on the white spectrum.

I’m an old (49 yo), and have never gotten so many compliments on my hair and skin (apparently it keeps me looking young).

I responded to your first post without seeing your second.
