That is not what the story says at all. Stop lying! The story says there was a high speed chase (for shoplifting? Really?) and dude ran into the building to avoid the cops. There is no mention of him shooting at the cops other than the cops believed that he did but there’s no evidence of such and the police’s “belief”…
